About Candida glabrata CBS138 (GCA_000002545.2)
Candida glabrata is the second most frequent causative agent of human candidiasis, after Candida albicans. C. glabrata is a human commensal yeast in healthy individuals but with widespread use of immunosuppressive therapy and broad-spectrum antimycotic treatments it has been increasingly identified as the causal agent of candidiases. The annotation for this has been imported from FungiDB through the [VEuPathDB project] (https://veupathdb.org/veupathdb/app).
