Saccharomyces cerevisiae (R64-1-1)
Description

Dubious open reading frame; unlikely to encode a functional protein, based on available experimental and comparative sequence data; not conserved in closely related Saccharomyces species; deletion mutation blocks replication of Brome mosaic virus in S. cerevisiae, but this is likely due to effects on the overlapping gene SCS2 [Source:SGD;Acc:S000002961]

Location

Chromosome V: 400,867-401,238 reverse strand.

R64-1-1:BK006939.2
